Our Senior Kindergarten (SK) curriculum is designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking in young learners. By integrating Critical Thinking and Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL), we create a dynamic environment where children explore, question, and construct their own understanding of the world around them.

Critical Thinking encourages children to analyze, evaluate, and make connections between concepts. Through our structured activities, children develop skills such as reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Our Key Approaches:

• Story-Based Analysis: Encouraging children to predict story outcomes, identify problems, and suggest alternate endings.

• Hands-on Math Challenges: Engaging students in puzzles, patterns, and logic games to enhance analytical thinking.

• Cause & Effect Experiments: Simple science activities like floating and sinking or exploring the water cycle to develop reasoning skills.

• Reflective Discussions: Encouraging open-ended questions like "What do you think will happen next?" or "Why do you think this happened?"

Our Inquiry-Based Learning framework fosters a sense of wonder and encourages children to take an active role in their learning. Instead of just receiving information, they ask questions, investigate, and find answers through exploration and collaboration.

Our Key Approaches:

Project-Based Exploration: Children work on long-term projects like growing a plant, exploring animal habitats, or understanding community helpers.

Learning Through Play: Role-playing, dramatization, and hands-on activities help children experiment and learn through real-world scenarios.

STEM Activities: Encouraging children to build structures, conduct simple science experiments, and explore technology in age-appropriate ways.

Curiosity-Driven Learning: Teachers act as facilitators, guiding students through discussions that begin with a simple question like "What do you wonder about the stars?"

By embedding Critical Thinking and Inquiry-Based Learning, our Senior KG curriculum equips children with essential 21st-century skills:

Creativity: Encouraging imaginative problem-solving and innovative thinking.

Collaboration: Engaging in group projects and peer discussions.

Communication: Expressing ideas through storytelling, presentations, and artwork.

Critical Thinking: Developing the ability to analyze, evaluate, and apply knowledge in different contexts.

Our assessment in a Critical Thinking and Inquiry-Based curriculum focuses on observations, portfolios, and self-reflection rather than traditional testing. Facilitators document children's progress through anecdotal notes, projects, and interactive discussions, ensuring a holistic view of each child’s growth.

By integrating Critical Thinking and Inquiry-Based Learning, our Senior Kindergarten program becomes a stimulating, engaging, and child-centric space where young learners develop problem-solving abilities, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning. These approaches lay a strong foundation for future academic success and help children navigate the ever-changing world with confidence and adaptability.
